ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) -- Orange County Sheriff's deputies are
investigating an explosive device found in a home across from an
elementary school in central Florida.
Zellwood Elementary School is on lockdown. Authorities say the
bomb squad responded and confirmed it was an explosive device. They
plan to destroy the item rather than try to move it.
The device was found in the home of a man who was in several
wars and had recently died. Family members alerted deputies this
afternoon.
