John and I have been together for 3 years. In September 2010 John proposed to me at Lake Ella. I'll never forget it, we were standing under the gazebo, looking out, and he told me that he loved me, but not thinking to much of it, I just said "I love you too" and just turned slightly to notice something on his finger, and then he asked me to marry him, and of course I said yes!!! I thought it was so cute that he asked my daughter if he could propose to me first. We only have 19 days until we get married, and it will be a beautiful outside ceremony in Monticello. We will have a sand ceremony, but we will include my daughter, where she is accepting John as her step-father and John accepting her as his step-daughter. A week later after the wedding we will be going on our first cruise to the Bahamas. I decided I wanted John for the rest of my life, because of his heart, and he could get me out of my comfort zone in life. I can't swim never could, never wanted to. If you were to hear him tell you the story of what my face looked like, the day he was trying to get me on his boat for the first time would be priceless. Now, I'm out fishing with him as much as we can, I love it, and I realized how much I missed out on being so afraid. John has really opened my eyes to a bright future we have waiting on us. I love him with all my heart. Someone told me the other day, that I'll be good for John, but WE are good for each other.
Wedding set for October 2, 2010 1:30pm in Monticello
