HOWARDITE DAY AT SAINT PHILLIP AME CHURCH, JANUARY 27, 2013, AT 3:00 PM
Howardite Day is an annual event held at St. Phillip AME Church in Monticello, Fl. This day was created from the dynamic minds of Sister Gloria Norton (Class of 1966) and Brother Richard Roberts (Class of 1964) to bring together the Howard Academy High School community for fun, fellowship, and spiritual enrichment. This year, 2013, will mark the third year of Celebrating Howardite Day at Saint Phillip.
Honorees for this occasion are Mr. & Mrs. JIMMY WILSON. Mr. Wilson (retired) was H.A.'s Band Director who lead and taught with distinction. Mrs. Mae Eva Wilson was one of H. A.'s finest librarians and still serves Jefferson County Middle High School.
Please join us for this exciting day to see old friends and celebrate our journey. For the Howardites, please wear your orange and blue in honor of Howard Academy. Howard Academy High School will always be in our hearts.
Guest Preacher: Rev. Mazie Rojas(Class of 1965)
