The Delta Kappa Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Reading and Mathematics Tutorial Program is one of the chapter's longest running continuous programs. The program began Saturday, September 26, 1981 with the expressed purpose of addressing academic enrichment and remedial needs of the students in grades kindergarten through high school attending schools in Tallahassee, Monticello, and the surrounding area.

Delta Kappa Omega's Reading and Mathematics Tutorial Program is a cooperative effort on the part of committee members, volunteers, chapter members and the undergraduate members of Beta Alpha at Florida A&M University and Zeta Omicron at Florida State University.
