WCTV Announces September Teacher of the Month [SLIDE SHOW]

Today, we surprised Bond Elementary School teacher Myioshi Walker.

She has been voted WCTV's teacher of the month for September.

Walker has been teaching students with behavioral challenges for 14 years. She says watching them succeed is the greatest reward of all.

"It is an honor, really an honor thinking about all the kids that I've had that I see now growing up from when they were small to big. It's really an honor knowing that you make a difference," Walker said.

Ms. Walker teaches students in Kindergarten through 5th grade.

WCTV's teacher of the month is announced! She is Myoshi Walker, a K- 5 teacher at Bond Elementary in Tallahassee.

Her name was submitted by Harmony Ward. Ward who says: "Ms. Walker is loving and caring. She teaches ESE Behavior kids and she shows them so much love. She respects them and makes sure she teaches them so they understand and succeed. She does not accept "I can't" and pushes each kid to be their very best.
