Tallahassee, Fla – Policyholders of Florida founder and former Florida Insurance Consumer Advocate Sean Shaw today released the following statement regarding the class action lawsuit against Citizens Property Insurance Corporation filed today in Pasco County to fight the software used to calculate replacement values.
 
“Florida policyholders expect our state-run insurer to play by the rules,” said Shaw. “I hope that through this class action lawsuit we will finally understand why some replacement values are so out of whack, costing many homeowners hundreds or thousands of dollars.”
