Recipe is for two:
tbsp Canola oil
tsp Minced shallot
tsp Roasted garlic
1/2 c Sliced shiitake mushrooms (or mushroom of choice)
1/2 c Diced tasso ham
12 each peeled shrimp
1/4 c Heavy cream
salt
Minced parsely, sliced scallions for garnish
In med hi pan, saute shallot and garlic
Add mushrooms and continue to cook till mushrooms give up their moisture content
Add tasso, stir gently to incorporate
Add heavy cream and reduce
Add cooked linguini ( or pasta of choice, or rice). Once paste heated through, serve, garnish with parsley an scallions (optional).
