3 T. fresh rosemary, chopped

Sprig of Rosemary for garnish
Prepare cake batter as directed on box. Add 3 tablespoons fresh, chopped rosemary. Bake as directed on box. Cream together cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, vanilla and 3 tablespoons fresh, chopped rosemary. Ice cake when it has cooled.
This recipe is from Savory and Sage, the cookbook of the Tallahassee Garden Club, which is for sale for $18. It has recipes and gardening wisdom. This recipe was submitted to the cookbook by our President, Kathy Carmichael, who will be there Monday to prepare the cake. She got the recipe from Native Nurseries so she plans to bring a rosemary bush with her for the show. Many folks receive them shaped like Christmas trees as gifts and don't know what to do with them. This is an easy and timely recipe.
