Ingredients
Instructions:
Wash brisket
Place brisket fat side-up in crock slow cooker
Add 2 ½ cups of water
Add pepper, bay leaves and garlic
Cook on low 6 hours
During last hour prepare vegetables.
Wash cabbage and drain
Pour 1 ½ cup of water in a large pot
(add 1 package of lipton onion soup mix to water for seasoning or seasoning meat)
Bring water to a boil, add cabbage
Cook 10 min.
Add potatoes
Cook potatoes and cabbage until tender
Serve with:
Cornbread
Mustard
Hot sauce
