Celebrity Chef: Dr. OK’s Salmon-Crab Patties

Ingredients:

  • Phillips Crab Claw Meat – 1can
  • Bumble Bee Pink Salmon – 1 can
  • Eggs – 2
  • Bread Crumbs – ¾ cup
  • Bell Pepper - ½ medium size, diced
  • Onion – ½ medium size, diced
  • Crushed Dill Weed – 1 tsp
  • Mustard – 2 tsp
  • Old Bay Seafood seasoning – 1tsp
  • Milk – 1/3 – 1/2 cup
  • Olive Oil – ½ cup
  • Salt – to taste
  • Granulated Garlic – 2-3 teaspoonfuls
  • Crushed red pepper – to taste

Directions:

1. Saute onions and bell peppers in 1-2 tablespoons of olive oil for about 5 minutes and set aside.

2. Mix salmon and crab in a large mixing bowl. Add sautéed onions and bell peppers, bread crumbs, eggs, and milk. Mix thoroughly.

3. Add remaining spices and mix well.

4. Coat the bottom of a medium to large skillet with olive oil or PAM.

5. Form Salmon/Crab Patty with 1-2 tablespoonful of mixture and cook on medium for 3-5 minutes per side
