Dry mix flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl.
In large bowl beat butter, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla together.
Add eggs into large bowl, mixing them in one at the time.
Slowly mix in flour mixture from smaller bowl into the larger bowl.
Once cookie dough is mixed split cookie dough in half using the large and small bowl.
Add yellow food coloring to one bowl and the red food coloring to the other bowl. Mix in until each bowl has desired color (may have to add more yellow food coloring to get a good color in each cookie).
Mix in 1 cup of morsels into each bowl with a spoon.
Spoon out a rounded table spoon of cookie dough and place onto ungreased baking sheet.
Space dough approximately 3 inches apart to make room for expansion.
