Triple-Chocolate Bombe

  • 1 (21 OUNCE) PACKAGE FUDGE BROWNIE MIX.
  • 1/2 GALLON FUDGE RIPPLE ICE CREAM, SOFTENED.
  • 1/2 (16 OZ) CAN READY-TO-SPREAD CHOCOLATE FUDGE FROSTING
  • 1 (12OZ) JAR RASPBERRY JAM, MELTED (OPTIONAL)

    1. Prepare and bake brownies according to package directions, using a 9"X13" pan. Cool on a wire rack.

    2. Cut brownies into squares; press into a 2 1/2 quart freezer proof bowl lined with plastic wrap, forming a brownie bowl.

    3. Spoon softened ice cream into prepared brownie bowl; cover and freeze 8 hours or until firm.

    4. Spoon frosting into a microwave safe bowl. Microwave, covered, at HIGH setting 45 seconds or until melted, stirring well. Invert ice cream bombe onto a platter; coat with melted frosting. To serve, cut into 12 wedges. If desired, spoon 2 tablespoons melted jam onto each serving plate, and top with a bombe wedge. Serve immediately.
