Celebrity Chef: Praline French Toast Casserole

8 eggs
1 1/2 cups half and half
1/3 cup maple syrup
1/3 cup light brown sugar
10 -12 slices of bread sliced 1" thick

1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup light brown sugar
2/3 cup maple syrup
2 cups chopped pecans

Grease a 9X13 casserole.
Mix egg mixture.
Arrange bread in casserole & pour egg mixture over the bread.
Refrigerate overnight.

Preheat oven to 350.

Make topping:
Melt butter; add sugar and syrup.
Cook 1-2 minutes.
Stir in pecans.

Pour mixture over bread.

Bake 45-55 minutes.
