16-20 chicken wings
¼ cup canola oil
Salt and ground black pepper
2 tablespoons canola oil
10 garlic cloves, peeled and minced
2 ounces soy sauce
1½ cups sweet chili sauce
3 tablespoons sesame oil
¼ cup chopped fresh cilantro
¼ cup macadamia nuts, toasted, and coarsely chopped
Heat grill on high.
In a large bowl, toss wings with ¼ cup oil, salt and pepper.
In a small saucepan, combine 2 tablespoons oil and garlic. Turn heat to medium. Cook until garlic is fragrant, stirring frequently. Add soy sauce, sweet chili sauce and sesame oil. Simmer 3-4 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in cilantro. Transfer to a large bowl and set aside.
Grill wings 15-20 minutes.
Toss wings with macadamia nuts and sauce until thoroughly covered.
