dough: 1/2 lb butter
1/2 lb cream cheese
1/4 cup sugar
3 cups all purpose flour
Soften butter and cream cheese, add flour and sugar and mix together until all combined. Shape into 7 balls and wrap and refrigerate. When ready to bake, roll each ball into a round (dinner plate size), using sugar/cinnamon mix sprinkled between 2 sheets of wax paper. Spread a thin layer of jam on top of round dough, sprinkle with mini chocolate chips and ground nuts. Cut into 8 wedges, roll from outside to form a crescent. Place on cookie sheet lined with parchment paper, bake in 350 degree oven for 25 minutes. Cool on rack, freezes well.
