Today we're going to go over the serve, and basically there's two types of serves: the spin serve and the flat serve. Let's work today on the flat serve.

As in everything, it all starts with the grip. Your index knuckle is kind of going to be between the side and the top, so it's going to kind of be right inbetween. Your racket is going to go right down by your shoelaces, so you're going to tie your shoes and scratch your back and throw it up to where you can extend. So it's going to look something like this.

If you throw your toss out in front of you, you want to hit the ball on the imaginary chin. That's going to make you hit up on the ball and make it go up, over and in....And it should go right over for you.

So remember, throw the ball out in front, three quarters speed, hit the ball up and out, you'll have a lot more success. Good luck!
