Florida State head coach Jimbo Fisher hopes the Seminoles' first game, a 59-6 win against Samford, is exactly how today's second home against BYU goes as well.

There was only one thing Jimbo Fisher could say to his sophomore place kicker after his kick sailed wide right that could have 38-37 win over North Carolina.
Jimbo Fisher says,
"You'll have many more chances to make game winning kicks, you're a great kicker and you're a big reason we're having success and we love ya. You have to forget it and move on."
Moving on. Something Florida State has had to do after back to back games that ended on FSU miscues.
Jimbo Fisher says,
"That's the thing about life and ball, it's all the same. You never know what it's going to give you. There's ups and there's downs and you can't quit believing in yourself, quit believing in your teammates, in the process. I've said this all the time, this is a process, we're not going to magically snap our fingers and win 10 games or 11 games."
Right now coach Fisher and the rest of the Seminoles are focused on the next one, Clemson, to try and stay in the ACC race.
Coach Fisher adds,
"Maybe this is part of what they have in mind for us. Maybe we have to learn to do this and not let it come down to a final play. Make some plays a little bit earlier and get that fixed. We'll keep doing the things we're doing, I still believe we're heading in the right direction. I love this team, I like their attitude, I like their competitive spirit. We just have to learn how to eliminate some of the mistakes and get a little better at times."

I can't understand why with Ponder not at 100% that Fisher cannot come up with a plan using two quarterbacks similar to what the coach in gainesville has done using three. Manuel will be the starter next year and he does need some playing time this year or we will be in bad shape come next season. I hope Fisher is a good enough coach to figure something out. We don't want the second best coach in the state of florida again especially with supposedly the number three recruiting class in the country coming in here next year. Well, that was before the last two games. Who knows now
