Tallahassee, Fla. -- The 2011 spring game may not have lit up the scoreboard like last year, but the outcome was still the same in the eyes of Jimbo Fisher.

"When you're playing so many guys down the line, some guys are getting to fancy and they can't execute," says Jimbo Fisher. "We wanted to try to create as much execution as we could, especially as beat up as we are."

Making his first appearance in a spring game, EJ Manuel did not finish with the best stats Completing 17 of 36 pass attempts with a touchdown and two interceptions, but when his squad was trailing late in the game, he led his team down the field and put them in a position to win.

"Wins now don't mean anything. If you play great now it doesn't mean anything. I got as much out of that, watching him do that, as I did if he would have went 10 for 10 or 15 for 15."

The game finished up four weeks of practice for the Seminoles leading to a very anticipated fall campaign. The largest crowd in spring history was on hand for the scrimmage to see the 'Noles for the final time in action before the September 3rd season opener.

"We had a good turnout, great fan support. A lot of old players back, a lot of old players back. Current players, guys that we haven't seen back in years and to just show the support for them, have them back and the got to have everybody back, have a reunion. It was just a great atmosphere."
