Tallahassee, FL -- Mike Martin has lost on the diamond before, 567 times to be exact, but this past weekends series loss to North Carolina struck Eleven in a negative way.

"You have to really give them a lot of credit," Martin says. "It still doesn't hide the disappointment because nobody in this profession likes to get beat. Certainly not me."

The loss snapped FSU's Sunday winning streak at twenty five games. A streak that started after FSU lost in the ACC title game to Virginia in 2009, but the loss on Sunday is not what concerns him.

Martin adds, "I'll tell you right now the one that concerns me is that Saturday one. I think we've lost three Saturdays in a row. I'm as sick of that one as I am proud, to be honest with you, of how many we won on Sunday."

The loss can be erased temporarily on Tuesday. A win over Florida and the 'Noles will win the season series with the Gators.

"Well after you lose two out of three to North Carolina it means a lot."

FSU will try to begin a new Sunday wining streak this weekend when it heads to Virginia Tech for a three game series
