Tallahassee, FL- Mike Martin was 27 outs away from another trip to the College World Series.
"Let's not forget a week ago we lost the Atlantic Coast Conference Championship and a week later that's all forgotten because our guys are going to come right out and get after it again."
Now Mike Martin has his team on the verge of making it's 21st visit to Omaha for the College World Series. One more win, and it will be Martin's fifteenth appearance as the skipper of FSU. In the previous fourteen trips the 'Noles have come up empty on winning it all. The closest Florida State has finished is second.
Martin adds, "When you have positioned yourself you're never satisfied unless you get there."
After losing the first game of the super regional with Texas A&M FSU responded in a big way to force a deciding game three tonight with the Aggies. Winner stays alive for one more week of baseball, loser waits until 2012.
