Rose Bailey's greatest joy is the family she has created throughout foster care and adoption. All her kids agree that their family is a lot of fun because there's always people around! Bailey has adopted eight children and has fostered over 150 other children.
Her kids call their home Grand Central Station, as Kenny, Bailey's son says, “Because there is always someone coming and going there are so many people in here it is kind of fitting”.
After years of dealing with infertility issues Bailey and her husband decided that they could dedicate their love to children in need.
Josh, another one of Bailey's sons, feels very lucky to be one of the people they kept out of so many foster children who came through the home.
We asked Bailey to list her children: Phil is 26, Kenny is 20, Chelsey is 18, Josh is 15, the twins Eric and Erika are 10, Gabriela is 5, and Alisse is 4.
All of them share different rooms except Chelsey, she is the luckiest of the family she has her own room, her brothers say.
The twins are sharing a room, the oldest boys stay together, and the two little ones Gaby and Alisse share a room also, they are the two princess of the family because they are the youngest, says Josh.
All of them are happy and feel fortunate to be part of Bailey's family.
Chelsey loves to come home because the house is never quite unless it's night time and everyone is going to bed.
Bailey believes that for as much as they give them they get back ten folds, and they mean a lot to her. The children thank them for everything they have done and for being there. Kenny recognize that they have given him a second chance in life, and he loves his parents for that.
Bailey says, "Every child wants a family of their own, everybody wants a Mom and Dad everybody wants to be a part of a family.
As tough as their exterior is on the outside specially some of our older kids that is want they want" says Bailey.
