At 16 years-old, Charissa has spent more than half of her life without the love of a family. Like your average teen, she has many interests.
She collects pennies, plays softball, and enjoys going to the beach. Moving from home to home has been difficult. She's had to say good bye to many friends, while trying to make new ones.
Charrisa needs a mom and dad and the support of a family. She wants to be a nurse because she likes to help others. Like all kids in Florida's foster care system, Charrisa can go to college for free
What she really needs is to have parents to be there for her. She says she would like a normal family, and to grow up and be a normal kid. She is looking for that connection that will last a lifetime - a permanent home and a Forever Family.
