What I really want for Christmas is…
Toaster would be nice…
All I want for Christmas is…
All I want is some housewares …
Anna Johnson, WCTV News: Household items not the first thing that would come to mind as a Holiday wish for your average teenager. But for those who aged-out of Foster Care at 18 these items are not only essentials they may be the only gift they receive this holiday season.
I appreciate everything that was given to us.
All I needed.
Anna; Each year Forever Family raises funds to buy for teens who are starting life on their own without a Mom or a Dad or a family the items they need to make their transition into adulthood easier.
Michael Stephens, Child Advocate: When our kids turn 18 and they are transitioning to adults. A lot of our kids are going off to college setting-up their own apartments.
Antonio, 19 years-old; I am excited that people care that much about us to go out of their way to help us.
Elke, 20 years-old; It is a great great feeling to know that we have people out there who want to help.
Anna: With your help we will make the holiday season bright for those who need it most.
Michelle Singer, Forever Family volunteer: you may not be able to change the world all at once but you can do it a little bit at a time. If you do something good for somebody else that person in return will do good to somebody else in the future. And all you need to do is just show somebody that you care.
If you'd like to show that you care by making a contribution Call 1-888-365-FAMILY or log on to www.foreverfamily.org 100 percent of your tax-deductable donation will be used to purchase items to help them set up their first homes
