The possibilities are endless for E.J.
We saw first-hand as this quiet and shy teen lit up during a visit to the Florida Highway Patrol.
We can only imagine how a Forever Family would brighten his world.
EJ, looking for a Forever Family: My name is EJ and I am 14.
Anna Johnson, WCTV Eyewitness news: Did you enjoy what we did today? What was the best part for you?
EJ: Coming to the police station looking at the trucks and SUVs
Policemen: How are you?
Anna: Nice to meet you.
EJ: Nice to meet you.
We thought maybe you could show us the inside…
Haley Unkefer, child advocates: When you meet EJ, you know he is a little bit shy.
Policeman: How are you doing?
Haley: Once he gets to know you he gets comfortable and he opens up. He really has a passion for a lot of different things.
EJ: Football Basketball, trying something new playing golf.
Haley: We started talking about music and he talked about music for hours. He loves animals and just talking about own like different types of animals like dogs and he even said he would like to own a gorilla which was really cute.
Anna: Do you know what you want to do, like in a few years when you graduate from high school?
EJ: A basketball player.
Anna: Really yes, are you watching any of the games? Which is your favorite player and team?
EJ: The Lakers, and Kobe Bryant.
Anna: What kind of parents do you want?
EJ: It doesn't matter
Haley: He wants any kind of parents and I think what EJ just really wants is, you know a family that's going to love him and he doesn't care what they look like or how much money they make but just someone that going to accept him. He is a great kid.
