Brianna: My name is Brianna and I am 16. I enjoy hanging out with my friends, getting to talk to them when they are really down and tell them that it will be ok.
Anna Johnson, WCTV eyewitness news: I heard you got an award.
Anna: What is the award for?
Brianna: the Resident of the year award. A person that steps out and help somebody in need without being asked. I enjoy being able to wake-up early Sunday morning, and going to hear my pastor preach.
One of the ceremonies that really got to me was the one about giving back, like appreciate and say thank you.
Reporter: It is just two little words but they mean a lot.
Anna: When you think about a family what do you want to see?
Brianna: I want a family who will love me for me. A nice Christian family that would continue to take me to church and give me the love that I will need.
