Forever Family: June 23, 2011

Ansel, looking for a forever family: my name is Ansel and I am 12 years old. Today at the zoo my favorite part was seeing the animals and feeding the giraffes.

Ron Miguel, zoo director: Now you are at the Giraffe feeding station, and we have a couple of our best Giraffe up here.

This is Fesic our big male, this is Kita the female. Look the little one are coming over.

Anna, Johnson WCTV News: Ansel is so positive and excited about his future. he has a plan "A".

Ansel: I want to be a famous football player.

Anna: and a plan "B"

Ansel: I would like to be an artist. Draw and paint.

My favorite things to do play football and basketball. My most favorite thing to do is use the computer. I like to learn about math, reading, science, and social studies. I like to play the drums. I play the african drums at my school.

Lanecia Radcliff, child advocate: I would really like to see Ansel having a male role model.

Anna: Two parents, a dad, or even a single mom with a male friend or family member who is consistently there for Ansel.

Lanecia: Just a consistent stable family where he won't have to go from home to home.

Ansel: I would like to have a Forever Family.

Lanecia: He needs a lot of love and affection.

Ansel: A Forever Family is like a family that adopts you for good and they take care of you and even when you turn 18 they will still be able to have you. To find the right family that has everything you need is fun. It is going to be fun.
