The Decatur County Gilbert H. Gragg Library's latest exhibit is "Harry Potter's World: Renaissance Science, Magic, and Medicine."

The exhibit uses materials from the National Library of Medicine and teaches children about the influences of 15th and 16th century medicine and science on J-K Rowling's Harry Potter series.

Librarian Taryn Brown says, "A lot of our people who have come in to see it just really love it. And they're really excited we have this here and they really appreciated the value of the exhibit."

Stacie Taylor attended the exhibit on opening day and said, "It gets kids into liking something and learning about different things."

The exhibit runs until October 16th. It will eventually travel to over 100 libraries across the country.
