The Brehon Institute Golf Tournament hopes to raise 12-thousand dollars. The money will go to the Brehon House Program, which helps homeless expecting mothers.
It will also help Brehon's healthy families program and project safe. Each of those programs help build strong and healthy families in our area.
Jackie Malone, Executive Director with Brehon, said, "It's going to be a tremendous help. It costs about a thousand dollars per resident, per month, for us to operate the program. The golf tournament will go to assist us with the Brehan House Program."
The last golf tournament raised $5,000, and this year the Brehon Institute wants to raise a lot more.
