If you are heading downtown, know that parts of Monroe Street, Jefferson Street, and Park Avenue will be closed. Several scenes for HBO's movie, "Recount" will be filmed and they have all the extras they need on hand to create the same chaos from seven years ago. We spoke to some of them this morning.
Jonathon Myers, who plays a protestor for George W. Bush, said, "I just held up like a sign that was against Al Gore and just got to, like, walk through the different scenes, um, basically, like, your in the background of each set, cause your an extra."
Cory Sanders, who is playing a reporter, said, "From what I've heard, pretty much, I guess I'll be in the background holding a camera, interviewing someone, or either holding a microphone, so it kind of varies. Don't know which one exactly, but we'll see when the time comes."
One of the scenes played out this near the old Capitol brings to life the moment when one of the legislators addressed the press that there will be a recount of some of Florida's ballots.
