Chris Floyd with the Red Cross painted a vivid picture for business and community leaders this morning. Imagine 35 percent or more of the population getting sick and not enough people to carry out jobs like Emergency Medical Services. This would be part of a phase six influenza pandemic.
We asked some local leaders why they attended this morning's Charles Chapman with Gadsden County Parks and Recreation said, "Overall, just to make sure our citizens have the best, um, prepared response units from the county level that we can provide."
