Leon County School Board Meeting

For parents with kids in middle school and younger, next week is the last committee meeting to work on a rezoning proposal. The rezoning comes after the addition of a new middle school and elementary school in Leon County. The school board will go over the proposal on December 11th and will vote January 15th.

Barbara Wills, Division Coordinator of Policy and Planning says, "We want to hear from citizens because we want to know what they think about the maps we've proposed and the potential zones we've drawn. We are trying to keep neighborhoods intact."
