Housing Initiative Meeting

The city of Tallahassee is trying to get public input on a workforce housing pilot program. The program would offer affordable rent to people with low paying jobs, but no developers have signed up yet.

Once someone does, they will compete with other developers across the state. Developers will get points for adding things like green buildings to their proposals.

The application process for the state pilot program will begin December 31.
