Bethel Community Development Corporation's 52nd House
Bethel Community Development Corporation is doing that one home at a time. Today, Bethel held an open house for their 52nd home built for the community. Bethel says families will apply to qualify for the home and those sho do receive down payment and closing cost assistance.
Reverend John Green with Bethel CDC says, "If you just look at this neighborhood today and you'll see all of the wonderful changes that has taken place in this neighborhood. It has truly been a blessing for us to have been involved ourselves in building new homes in this community"
Bethel says this home markets at about $152,000 but families can buy it for about $110,000.
