The U.S. Postal Service says Americans entrusted them with about 275 million cards and letters. That's more than three times the average daily amount. But the Postal Service is not scrooging over that, they say with 700-thousand employees, 200-thousand trucks, and 232 years of delivering holiday cheer, they rival Santa and his elves.
