Up until Monday, the college has been on probation along with the University. Now, the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education lifted the probation on the College of Pharmacy. The decision was made following the council's board meeting in Tampa last week.
President Dr. James Ammons said, "As a result of this action by the accreditation council, this college can now go back and focus more of its attention on continuing its legacy of producing more outstanding graduates in this field."
FAMU's administration sincerely thanked students, faculty and staff for working hard to dissolve its probationary status.
