2008 African American History Month Calendar Unveiling

Monday night everyone was excited about the unveiling of Tallahassee Community College's 2008 African-American History Month Calendar. Hundreds watched as the cloth was pulled away from the calendar cover honoring the familiar faces of accomplished African Americans throughout the community.

This year's theme was, "The Mis-Education of the Negro: Re-educating and Empowering 75 Years Later." The calendar unveiling featured the Christian Heritage Church Choir and a presentation by a young man who has collected all of the Black History Calendars.
