Mayor John Marks and Wife Jane Marks Perform

The duo practiced Monday evening for "Love Letters." The play features two characters who write love letters to one another from a very young age up into their sixties and seventies.

When we spoke to the couple, they were pleased to have the opportunity to perform. Mayor Marks says, "The script itself is really, very very nice." Jane says, "You know, it's a wonderful cultural event, We forget that we have jewels like Young Actor's here in the city, so for us it's a treat."

The play debuts at the Young Actor's Theatre February 8th and 9th. Proceeds benefit the theatre and its scholarship programs. Young Actor's has been around since 1975.
