The cook off has been catching the attention of chili lovers over the past fifteen years with a competition on taste, appearance and aroma.
This year's theme was Down Home Southern Style with live DixieLand music, fresh squeezed lemonade, cornbread and even a pie eating contest.
"It's a family event. We've got pony rides and hay rides and children's contests. So we've tried to bring everybody out here together. So there is something for everybody in the family," says Pam Kuhlmeier, Executive Director of the Dick Howser Center.
There were some familiar faces in the crowds, our very own Mike McCall and Lee Gordon were judges at the cook off.
Also, Florida State Cheerleaders, golf and football players also came out to show their support.
All of the proceeds from the event will go to the Dick Howser Center For Childhood Services in Tallahassee.
