Update on Doctor's Memorial Hospital Financial Situation

At a public hearing Wednesday evening, commissioners reviewed the financial situation of the Doctor's Memorial Hospital in Perry. The board also considered its policy on giving money to non-profit organizations. The board says it can not give money to such organizations if it has not received a current audit the organization's finances. Taylor County commissioners will wait for an updated audit before they decide whether or not to grant funds to the hospital.
