Gov. Crist Visits FAMU for MLK Assasination Anniversary

And the topic was the source of an enlightening conversation between Governor Crist and the FAMU community. The governor, lieutenant governor, and legislators shared their inspirations from King's famous philosophy behind four words, "I have a dream."

"I think it's even more important for us to remember today because 40 years ago today, he was still alive. On April 3rd, he was still with us 40 years ago sharing his dream with others." said Crist.

The visit from Governor Crist and his staff included a tour of FAMU's black archives where the University had a special tribute to Dr. King himself.
