Tallahassee Welcomes Newest Improvement

It's a new FedEx Air Cargo building to handle all those shipments. To prove how much the airport needed a bigger facility--the city says it is 22,000 square feet compared to the 6,000 square feet of the old building. City officials who contributed to the project were happy to welcome the carrier company into their new home.

Peter Bolton, the Airport Construction Manager said, "The City of Tallahassee has been growing over the last twenty years and FedEx has been with us for twenty years, so we worked with them putting together a new agreement and they're here for another twenty years."

The FedEx building is a part of a 12-million dollar cargo complex improvement project at the Tallahassee Regional Airport.
