More than a month ago, when a Tornado ripped through this community on Capitola Road, Bryant Howell and his wife Kay reached out to their neighbors. The Leon County Sheriff's Office says they provided meals, moral support, and more to the community. It's something Howell says he and his wife did not expect to be honor for.
"I don't really feel like I did anything to be honored for. It was just something that everybody in the neighborhood would have done, anyone. But I still feel great about being nominated, I really do." said Bryant Howell. The Howells also helped organize a Capitola Fundraiser that was held March 29th.
