Nearly two months ago, 85-year-old Cecile Rosser was killed at the intersection of Dempsey Mayo and Miccosukee Roads. Authorities say the driver of the car that struck Rosser's car ran a red light.

Thursday night, members of the Westminster Oaks community met with Leon County leaders asking for ways to make the area safer. "You go 45 along there when you can't see where you're going, that's not good. My friend who was killed there was an excellent excellent driver. She had many years of life left." said Dolores Ingraham, a close friend of Rosser

Leon County says it already has plans to install flashing lights on Miccosukee as well as rumble strips, but residents still want more to be done.
