The team says it's working on chartering a flight to Nebraska, but how are the loyal fans making it to the big game? If you plan on going all the way with the team--AAA recommends driving, even with gas prices averaging over four dollars a gallon. Special packages to get to the College World Series are harder to come by than the big football and basketball venues.

Right now plane tickets run from about $800 to $1,700, so if you plan to drive--AAA says it's 1,245 miles to Omaha, 25 hours straight driving if you average 50 miles an hour, and to make sure you watch the weather from here to Nebraska at this time of year.
