A brand new middle school built off of Centerville Road has been named William J. Montford III Middle School--after the former principal, teacher and superintendent.

Also, a new school in Southwood has been dubbed J. Micheal Conley School at Southwood. In addition--the school district office complex has been named Devurn Glenn District Service Center.

Dr. Glenn said, "I have six children, they all were here from various places, one from Ohio. The support was just excellent from family and also from former co-workers and friends."

School district officials say Glenn was the first minority to serve as an assistant superintendent in Leon County, he was the first principal of Nims Middle School, and more.
