Another option is riding a bike, which is not a bad plan. Considering you have to work harder to fill the tank of your car. Several groups in our area are partnering with Commuter Services of North Florida to teach people the rules of the road on a bicycle. Thursday night, Krank It Up in Railroad Square hosted its first of a series of bicycle education classes. Experts say going green is good, but we have to be safe doing it.

"Sometimes people don't follow the laws. That could be bicyclists, that could be motorists and we all fair better when bicyclists act of drivers of vehicles, which they are. And also when motorists follow the rules." said Jennifer Carver with Commuter Services.

The Commuter Services of North Florida will continue classes at Krank It Up and other organizations in the big bend. To find out how you can attend, just call 888-454-7433.
