The Wakulla County Sheriff's Department and other service agencies were all on display at the Wakulla County Wal-mart to let residents know what to do when faced with an emergency and that service agencies are always there to help.
"It's hurricane season so one of the things we try to do every year is to make people feel aware and have an understanding of what's about to occur and to be ready and have some confidence in the Sheriff's Office. So we have our fire, ambulance, sheriff's office, emergency management here on display to make people feel good," says Wakulla Co. Sheriff David Harvey.
Participants that dropped in to view the service display snacked on free hot dogs donated by Max Meat while learning information on how to devise a successful hurricane evacuation plan.
