Fay may have stopped up the drains, but it will not stop election day. The Leon County Supervisor of Elections says early voting has already brought in 12,000 voters. Tuesday, the official primary election day is expected to go on with out a hitch, as most precincts are accessible and no other damage has been done to affect voting plans.
Ion Sancho, Leon County Supervisor of Elections, "Some people may have to take more secured routes to get to their polling location then they otherwise might have to and we're looking at those and constantly monitoring that."
As of Monday, Sancho said one precinct was having power issues and was being worked on. The polls open at 7:00 a.m. and will close at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. For more information on your voting location, just click the link to the Leon County Supervisor of Elections below.
