From tainted tomatoes to sick peppers--the salmonella investigation has gone far and wide. But now the list of vegetables to avoid eating has been cleared.
The Food and Drug Administration announced it has lifted its warning not to eat jalepeno and Serrano peppers. The administration says the peppers from Mexico that were suspected of salmonella are no longer in circulation.
The original salmonella threat was tagged to tomatoes back in June--causing heavy losses for tomato farmers. FDA says the ban on tomatoes was lifted in July.
