We checked in on the morale of the Seminole Nation Monday night and his weekend, as the Noles leave home to take on Colorado in Jacksonville, students ask if their team ever get back to the good ol' days of National Titles. As they wait for such a glorious time to come, many fans try to stay positive for now.
Clinton McComb, an FSU student said, "I think they can bounce back and have a good game, work, and get over the interceptions and turnovers and everything."
No one can blame the low morale of the battered Seminole fans, but as for the fans themselves, there's no question where they're placing blame. Ryan Riccio, another student said, "I'd like to see the offense improve a little bit. The defense looked good, but overall you know just better quarterback play for sure."
JD Beecher is a student who has already made plans to head to Jacksonville and he's only looking forward. "If we do get in a situation where we're down and we've just been struggling with field position--I really would like to see Drew Wetherford come in because he's got experience." said Beecher.
Despite the discouraging show put on this past Saturday, many students and fans alike are actually hoping they can get tickets to the game in Jacksonville--for more than just tailgating.
"I know the Seminoles and I know they'll get back to what they do and I watch Colorado. It's going to be a tough game."
The Seminoles will take on the Colorado Buffaloes on Saturday at 3:30 p.m.
